Pregnancy Shoot Lu & Luiz

Here are some pictures of the pregnancy shoot with the Brazilian couple Lu and Luiz.. We shot in the comfort of their own appartment, and for some of the pictures, we moved the furtniture around a bit to create the `studio` in the living room. We had a lot of fun.. here are some of the pictures..

One year later..

Exactly one year after the pregnancy shoot with Monica and Marc, we did a follow up shoot now starring their beautiful daughter Emma. In addition to some pictures of just Emma, we took some family shots, recreating some pictures of last year`s shoot. Here are some of the pictures..

Photo Shoot with the Tanuki Project

Earlier this year as well I shot with the electro art rock band The Tanuki Project.. had a fun shoot with the 5 members of the group. I can't show anything yet as the work will be used for a release later this year (likely fall) but in the meantime you can check out their music on their website. If you like their work, their latest CD is available on iTunes!

Catching up on some news.. earlier this year I did a shoot with the francophone rapper Rymz for his upcoming solo CD `Marchand d`Son`coming out on August 2nd. Some more pictures will be shown later, for now I can only show some..

Looking for male models

For an upcoming shoot in Montreal, in May, we are looking for 4 to 10 male models between 20 and 40. The pictures are for use in a business-to-business catalog and website (you will be required to sign a model release). Each shoot would be between 1 and 4 hours.

Shop Dilara online clothing retailer launched

Just a couple of days ago, Shop Dilara launched its website www.shopdilara.com. An online clothing and accessories retailer offering you 'celebrity, runway and red carpet style'.
All photography on the site is done by myself, models are Jess L (Dulcedo), Shiloh and Zara. Here are some pictures, but for more, go check out the website.

Smoke photography showing another ancient god?

You may have already seen that Ganesha, the elephant-headed god showed up in one of my smoke pictures about 2 years ago. This time, another god may be seen in the smoke , with a ram or goat head, sitting down with folded knees and hands around the legs. While many gods were depicted with a ram-head, there are two in particular that I think of when looking at the picture:

Ikenga, the Alusi god of fortune and industry, for people in southeast Nigeria.

Amun, the king of gods in Egyptian mythology. 

I have added depictions of both as comparison, do you see similarities.. or do you see something completely different?

Smoke photography - pregnant woman

Earlier this summer I did a couple of maternity shoots, and it seems like my smoke wanted to follow suit.. In my latest smoke shoot, I captured this smoke trail, which could look like a pregnant woman. but maybe you see something else...
some more new smoke photography coming soon: a god, a warrior creature, a heart and some more abstract variations..

Photo shoot with Mary and Victor

We had planned to shoot outdoors, near the water.. but the water was pouring down when we met for the shoot, so we went to plan B and set up the studio inside. Victor is a model with Scoop, and Mary is an actress and is starting out modeling as well.. For Victor the main goal was to get some nice couple shots for his portfolio, and for Mary some couple shots and individual shots for hers. Make-up Artist Milena Battista did a great job on the make-up.

Photo shoot with Vanessa

Here are some pictures of my recent shoot with Vanessa and make-up by Mary Martinelli. It was Vanessa's first time doing a photo shoot and having make-up done. We started taking some pictures on the terrace and roof until it was dark, then we moved back inside and did another couple of looks. Just to give you an idea, including make-up and changing, this was about a 4 hour shoot.
